Hello Bruce, How are you and the family doing? Sometime when I'm in Oklahoma we need to get together and chat, or if you plan to take a short cut through the Orlando Florida area. Time flies and our two boys are in college, today is our 24th anniversary. It's hard to belive that I meet my beautiful wife at a Wildwood picnic during the summer for college students.
Lets keep in touch.
Remember; amatures built the Ark, professionals built the Titanic.
God Bless
Mel
PS:If you don't remember I introduced the current facility to the building committee

Hmmmm... Well, If I had never heard of Santa Claus, yet he just decided he was going to be standing in my living room with the lights still out, at midnight, with a stuffed bag full of stuff, and rustling around in there (looking for milk n cookies) while everyone was still all nestled in their beds,I think that if I woke up to the sound of a man in my house shouting Ho-Ho-Ho it would be VERY safe to say that seeing the light of another day would not even be probable.
Then the headlines might read:
Christmas is cancelled!
Santa Iced!
Which might give people a motive to go with, the real reason for the season, ya think! :)

If we were a child we would be cautious but probably except Santa Claus because of the gifts he had; but the adult would probably take action against the intruder first then think about it later. That is why children can come to the Lord so much faster and without all the baggage. As an adult the thief comes and robs us of that gift by filling our heads with doubt from all the baggage we carry around. As Christians, Jesus Christ wants us to live somewhere in the middle and allow him to be our Shepherd who willing gave his life for us and wants to take care of us.

I would assume the worst as he would be uninvited and in my home. Full anti-intruder measures would be employed at this point. No logical explanation could explain an uninvited guest in my home in the middle of the night. On a different note I heard a phrase this week concerning gifts of the Holy Spirit-no tree can eat its own fruit. They are not fruits for me to hoard but fruits to give away. I had never looked at it from this perspective. Who am I?

I would think that anyone coming to my house to do good would (a) come at a time when I would be awake, and (b) ask to be invited into the house. If I thought otherwise, I wouldn't lock my doors at night.
