Hope you have had a great week!

New to our church? We are glad you’re here! We would love to connect with you at our Welcome Desk during any of our services. You can meet a staff member, and get some great ideas on how to get connected.

GIRLTIME, A Prelude to Christmas
Ladies, join us on November 18, from 7:00-9:00 pm to celebrate Emmanuel and the gift He is to us. We’ll have speakers to share His place in their lives, Christmas carols, fellowship, and a hot chocolate bar. Sign up at wildwoodchurch.org/girl-time.

SURVIVING THE HOLIDAYS – a GriefShare Special Event
If you are struggling with the loss of someone you love and the holiday season seems challenging, Wildwood is offering a free one-night session of GriefShare’s “Surviving the Holidays” on Tuesday, November 19, 6:30-8:00 pm, in Room 1.

Join us Sunday, November 24, at 9:45 and 11:00 for baptisms! We will be doing a modified ALL IN that Sunday! We invite elementary children, students and all adults to join us in the Worship Services as we celebrate what God is doing in the lives of our Wildwood family! Early Childhood Classes (Birth-Pre-K) will still meet as normal.

As part of the 9:45 Worship Service on November 24, Wildwood’s Elders will be praying over High School Minister, Abe Mahner, as he will be licensed for Gospel Ministry. Join us for this special moment!

Join us as we decorate Wildwood for Christmas on Sunday, November 24, at Noon. (Free pizza and drinks provided.) Please RSVP to rebekahkey@wildwoodchurch.org and let her know you plan on being there.

Wildwood Student Pastor, Jonathan Holmes, has accepted a new position with Lifepoint Church in Ozark, Missouri. We are sad to see them go but excited for what the Lord has next in store for their ministry. Join us December 15, at noon, in the Gathering Hall, for a send-off reception.

MISSION NORMAN – The Christmas Shoppe
Each Christmas, Wildwood partners with Mission Norman to share the love of Christ with our community. Our goal is to collect gifts for 600 kids! You and your family can be involved by donating new toys (newborns-16 year-olds), giving financially, or by helping organize or staff the Christmas Shoppe. We’re also collecting new or freshly washed coats, new socks, new underwear, and gloves. Visit wildwoodchurch.org/missionnorman for more information, volunteer sign-ups, or to give to the Christmas Shoppe Fund.

Want to hear more of what God is doing around and through Wildwood? Tune in each week to our new podcast “This is Wildwood” that features stories of what it looks like to live out our mission and vision in Norman and around the world. This new episode we sit down with the directors of the Christmas Shoppe (Janet Hess and Rebekah Key) together with key volunteers Stephanie Berryhill, Mary Anderson, and Sue Tegeler to share with us some of what God has done in year’s past, and how we can get involved this year! Check it out!

In addition to our second Fridays every month, Wildwood now ministers at Food and Shelter for Friends in Norman every THIRD WEDNESDAY of each month by preparing and serving lunch. You may volunteer by helping to cook the meal, serve the lunch, and/or cleaning up afterward. Sign up at wildwoodchurch.org/mission/our-community

Our heart is for all children to feel welcome, safe and successful in our Children’s Ministry. We have openings for 2-3 individuals (must be high school students or adults) to work one-on-one with elementary age children on Wednesday evenings through our Awana program. Training is provided. For more information, please contact Melanie at melaniegladhill@wildwoodchurch.org.

Every year Wildwood loves to bless our college students with a bag of goodies during finals.  We like to provide each student with two bags – one to keep for themselves and one to pass on to a student on campus, along with a handwritten note of encouragement.  Please help us by signing up to bring goodies for the study bags.  All items need to be brought to church by Sunday, December 1st.  Please note: We will need 130 of each item!  Thank you for blessing the students in this way!  To sign up visit: wildwoodchurch.org/college
